Ourika valley day trip and Setti Fatma waterfalls
An hour from Marrakech, the Ourika valley climbs along its river towards the High Atlas. Berber villages cling to the slopes, restaurant terraces dip their feet in the water, and the air cools as you go up.
At the end of the road is Setti Fatma: a forty-minute walk leads to the first waterfall, between boulders and walnut trees. It is the shortest drive of all our day trips — ideal for a first outing beyond the city.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to do the waterfall walk?
No. You can stay at the Setti Fatma terraces while the rest of the group goes up.
Does the trip run in winter?
Yes, the valley is beautiful all year. The water is cold and the peaks often snow-capped — bring a warm layer.
Can I combine Ourika with something else the same day?
The day is already full. To mix mountains and desert, look at our Atlas and three valleys trip instead.
